FaceTite at Body by Ravi Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics
InMode’s patented FaceTite is a minimally invasive technique that can be done in our Memorial office or in an accredited surgical facility. It combines the best available skin tightening technology which can be performed with liposuction, if needed. This game-changing treatment uses radiofrequency waves to penetrate the deeper layers of tissue below the skin and well as directly to the skin. Not only are there immediate on-table skin tightening results, there is continued tightening for up to one year as your body amplifies its production of collagen and elastin causing continued skin retraction. Offering immediate and long-term results, FaceTite will tighten, smooth and lift the skin to improve facial contours. Over the coming months, the subsurface collagen fibers will continue to improve, providing benefits that improve up to a full year.
Additionally, Dr. Ravi can address the tiny pockets of fatty tissue that can develop along the chin, neck, and jawline with liposuction. Equipped with Radio Frequency Assisted Liposuction (RFAL), FaceTite will melt and vacuum away the deposits of adipose tissue, restoring a youthful contour.
Areas Commonly Treated with FaceTite Include:
- Double Chin (submental fat)
- Crepey Neck Tissue
- Nasolabial Folds (deep creases running from nose to mouth)

The FaceTite Consultation
If you have been considering a facelift or neck lift, but are not yet ready for surgery, FaceTite may be the ideal technique for you. A potential candidate should be in overall good health, with a clear understanding of the FaceTite procedure and the recovery requirements. For a successful treatment, patients must hold realistic expectations for their final results.
Prior to scheduling a FaceTite procedure, new patients will have a comprehensive consultation with Dr. Ravi or Dr. Gopathi. Patients should expect this visit to last about an hour. Dr. Ravi and Dr. Gopathi will take as much time as needed to get to know each your needs and aesthetic goals. As well as perform a comprehensive examination of the facial tissues. Once the exam is complete, the doctors will explain the FaceTite procedure in detail, including the recovery process and potential complications. Before and after pictures of recent FaceTite patients will be reviewed. After answering any remaining questions, Dr. Ravi or Dr. Gopathi will determine if FaceTite can meet your needs. If so, a personalized treatment plan will be created. Any additional recommendations or techniques, such as Botox or dermal fillers, will be discussed at this time.
The FaceTite Procedure
FaceTite is performed in a comfortable Body by Ravi Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics’ treatment room, generally taking one hour. To begin, a local anesthetic will be applied to the target area. While general anesthesia is not needed, an oral sedative may be administered for optimal comfort. A tumescent anesthetic, made from lidocaine, epinephrine, and saline, will also be injected into the treatment area.
Dr. Ravi or Dr. Gopathi begin the procedure by creating a small, needle-size incision along the rear of the jawline. From here, the FaceTite Fractora cannula is placed underneath the skin. Meticulously controlled RFAL energy is emitted from a small electrode at the tip of the FaceTite wand, heating specific targets of tissue. The concentrated heat tightens tissue fibers, kick-starting the body’s collagen production. Simultaneously, the liquefied fatty tissue is removed through the small cannula.
FaceTite Recovery and Results
As the FaceTite treatment does not require general anesthesia, patients are home resting immediately following. Recovery time is much shorter and easier than that of a conventional facelift or neck lift. Patients should expect the treatment area may be pink or flushed after the session. Mild to moderate swelling can appear after 24 hours, very rarely lasting up to ten days. Small, temporary scabs will form where the skin was punctured. These will generally flake away in about a week. To minimize post-op swelling, a head wrap will need to be worn at all times, for up to three days, then only at night for another two weeks. This way you can go back to work much faster than a regular neck or facelift. It is imperative that sunscreen be worn at all times during the FaceTite recovery, even when exposed to indirect sunlight, such as driving. Work can be resumed whenever you feel up to it.
Most patients can see a dramatic improvement in the skin’s tightness immediately after their FaceTite procedure along with desired contours. As collagen and elastin stores increase, the appearance will continue to improve over the coming year. To extend the benefits from FaceTite, Body by Ravi Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics will recommend a maintenance plan that may include additional noninvasive treatments and a physician-quality skincare routine.
FaceTite is considered a safe and effective treatment for lax skin and tissue. Side-effects such as bruising, swelling, and discomfort are normally mild. The only possible scarring would be in the tiny insertion sites, but most disappear with time. It’s important to know there will be far less scarring when compared with traditional surgical procedures. More serious risks are rare but may include temporary numbness, infection, and nerve damage.

What is FaceTite?
FaceTite is an in-office technique designed to tighten delicate facial and neck skin, restoring a youthful appearance without a surgical necklift or facelift procedure. Using a small wand-like device, radio frequency energy will heat the facial tissues along the sub-dermal plane. The transformative RF treatment immediately tightens and lifts the skin, offering results that will last for years. FaceTite can dramatically improve the neck, double chin, jowls, and nasolabial folds.
Am I a good candidate for FaceTite?
Almost anyone struggling with sagging, lax facial tissue may make a good candidate for FaceTite. The ideal patient will be in generally good health, understand the FaceTite procedure, and hold realistic expectations for their final results.
How many FaceTite sessions are needed?
In most cases, only one FaceTite session is required to achieve the desired results. No maintenance sessions are required. During your consultation with Dr. Ravi or Dr. Gopathi, a personalized treatment plan will be created, including anything additional that you may need.
Is FaceTite a painful procedure?
As FaceTite is not considered to be a painful procedure, general anesthesia is not required. A local anesthetic will be administered before the treatment, as well as light sedation, ensuring complete patient comfort.
How long do the results from FaceTite last?
Depending on the individual, FaceTite results can last from many years. In order to have realistic expectation, know that your skin will continue to age at the normal rate following treatment. To further improve and extend these results, Dr. Ravi and Dr. Gopathi will create a personalized treatment plan that may include additional noninvasive techniques and a physician-quality skincare routine.
