Body by Ravi Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics, RISE Med Spa, and the Houston Plastic Surgery Center officially unveiled their new, purpose-built facility with a Grand Opening celebration on Thursday, March 26, welcoming more than 200 guests.

This project began in 2021 as an idea—rooted in a desire to create something fundamentally different for our patients here in Houston and surrounding communities like Katy, Cypress, and Memorial.
Not just a new office, but a destination where patients seeking breast, body, and facial cosmetic surgery, as well as non-surgical aesthetic treatments, could feel comfortable, confident, and cared for at every stage.
In 2022, that vision became tangible with the purchase of land in Houston’s Energy Corridor.
From there, we partnered with an exceptional team to bring it to life. Browne McGregor Architects led the architectural design, while internationally recognized interior designer Nina Magon and her team created a space that feels elevated, welcoming, and intentionally different.
Construction began in January 2025 with O'Donnell Snider Construction.
This was a true passion project for both myself and Dr. Swapna Gopathi. We were deeply involved in every decision—carefully considering flow, efficiency, privacy, and how each moment would feel from a patient’s perspective.
Every inch was intentional.
One of the most important goals of this project was to create a space where patients feel comfortable—no matter where they are in their aesthetic journey.
Some patients come to us for non-surgical treatments at a Houston med spa.Others are exploring minimally invasive procedures. And some are ready for cosmetic surgery, including breast surgery, body contouring, and facial rejuvenation.
We wanted each of those patients to feel equally welcomed and supported.
That vision is reflected in the integration of:
The Houston Plastic Surgery Center was designed to meet the highest standards of safety, with a fully accredited environment, board-certified physician anesthesiologists, and a dedicated surgical team.
By bringing everything together under one roof, we are able to offer a truly seamless experience—from consultation to recovery.
One of the most meaningful aspects of the evening was not just the space—but the people within it.
Many of our long-time patients joined us, and what stood out most was how naturally they connected with guests who were new to the practice. Conversations flowed easily, and time and again, we saw patients sharing their experiences—speaking about their journeys, their results, and most importantly, the care they received from our team.
There was a genuine sense of trust and community in the room.
In fact, two of our patients approached us during the evening and asked if they could say a few words to the entire group. What followed were heartfelt, unscripted reflections on their experiences—moments that were deeply meaningful for our entire team.
It was a reminder that while we focus every day on clinical excellence, what stays with patients is how they feel throughout the process.
From the beginning, one idea guided everything we built:

Aesthetic care is deeply personal. Whether someone is considering a med spa treatment or cosmetic surgery, the process should feel thoughtful, supportive, and even joyful.

Later in the evening, Dr. Swapna Gopathi shared a perspective that reflects how we approach care every day:

This new space represents more than a new location—it reflects how we believe aesthetic care should be delivered.
